Who are Miami's Best OB/GYNs?
So I already felt this way, just based on my own knowledge and experience as patient in Miami. But the more I closely I work with labor and delivery the more it irks my nerves. The way some of these physician practice borderlines malpractice. How dare you call a c-section because you've had a long day or want to go home? If you can't hang, you should be in this line of work!
At the end of the day, that's HER body and her child. Emergencies happen. YES. They do. But your diagnosis of "failure to progress" or "failure to descend" is USUALLY a reflection of your desire to run through the front door and be on with your day instead of allowing her to labor down. A c-section rate of 30, 40, 50, 60 freaking percent is WAY too high.
I need to hear from you? Which doctors in Miami have the lowest c-section rate? Which doctors really listen to you when you voice your concerns? Which doctors really make you feel like you're a part of the process, instead of a process happening to you?
Rant over....for now.
